IntroductionThis section of the Health Law Resource page highlights some of the more significant health care legal issues, in the author's view, in the news and on federal and state legislative agendas. There is a treasure trove of news resources on the internet. Finding articles and stories of interest, though is a time-consuming process. I try to select current items which are relevant to some aspect of health care policy or law. Health care professionals, administrators and attorneys can look here every week for links to selected newsworthy items and developments. Most of the links here take you to the site on which the story appears - I claim no copyright in nor necessarily endorse the views expressed in the items or the site to which they are linked. Please read the terms of and respect the copyrights of the various authors. From managed care legislative initiatives to recent court decisions on right-to-die issues, the legal issues facing health care make complex the relationships between and among providers, payors and the public.I hope that you can look to this page every couple of weeks or so for new material discussing these issues and for some thoughtful analysis. This page will be updated every week (more or less). So -- don't forget to place this page and The Health Law Resource on your bookmark lists!
