All of these are variations on the "Barbie-roach" image. That image was based on an idea by Otaku. The idea is that after the great big H.G. Wells-Mad Max-Terminator-Planet of the Apes-plot device nuclear war, all that will be left will be Barbies and roaches, and they'll somehow breed and create a horrible race of fashion-conscious vermin (Idea: Totally Exoskeletal Barbie).

Anyway, these sort of tie in to the Barbie Conspiracy, which you should definitely visit, if you haven't already.
