Photoshop tips, tricks, and links
   Updated 1/30/98

This is the only really focused section of my humble little page. These are the best of the techniques that I know (at least, the best of the ones that I'm willing to share.) Check them out if you use Photoshop or some similar program.

Gallery
   Updated 3/21/98

The old gallery took much too long to load, so it is now in its own directory, categorized, and navigable by an image map, so it should be a lot faster to load. The image map for this is cool too.

The Barbie Conspiracy
   Updated 12/24/97

An almost half-semi-serious conspiracy theory, this deals with the subversiveness of Barbies, MTV, Fox, and much of popular culture. Now in its own directory.

Mr. Rogers:
Zen Master

   Updated 3/21/98
Here just say how much Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood reminds me of Zen koans, and how I think Fred Rogers is Supremely Enlightened. (Sure, supposedly he's a Presbyterian minister. I don't believe that for one second.

Random Thoughts
   Updated 3/21/98

These are just things that pop into my head when I'm trying to study for my midterms. Not deep, not useful, think of these as mental potato chips.

About Me
   Updated 3/21/98

Who is Enki? Not that you care, but I guess that it's kind of obligatory. This now has some real info about me, and a picture. (Scanning your face hurts your eyes)

Downloads

   Updated 12/24/97

A couple of movies, some Photoshop filters, and fonts by my pal Fizz. Now, by popular demand, this has QuickTime versions of my movies, and although it doesn't yet have Mac filters for all of you deviant Apple users out there, those might be here in the next update.

Welcome to enki's lair! This page is best viewed with Netscape 4.0+. That's what it was designed and viewed with, and other browsers, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, may play games with my formatting.
If this happens, I advise you to get a real browser before it is too late.

Please note that everything on these pages is COPYRIGHTED © 1997/1998. If you take this stuff please ask first, and have the decency to give me credit. Don't make me send you offensive e-mail -- ask first, since I'll probably say yes.

Gumbug, Eithne, Otaku, Redgoat, Seijika, and I have our own web page design company, Abzu. Please hire us? We'll work for food.
Gumbug is overhauling his page, so please don't judge it by what you see now. Eithne is still rebuilding her page, but perhaps by the next update it'll be up.
If you're interested in having us design a page for you, then mail us for more information. We have so far completely failed to get hired at all. You can be the first!

I've decided to put the Gallery in its own directory and broken it up by category, mostly because it took way too long to load, but also because it's a lot easier for me to keep track of the images and documents when FTPing it. It'll load much, much faster now, and it looks way better. It's also now navigable by a spiffy image map, rendered in Bryce. There are two new images in this update. There should be some more on the way, due to my acquisition of a scanner, and my purchase (i.e., legal(!) acquisition of Bryce 3D).

A new feature here: Mr. Rogers: Zen Master. This probably won't be updated unless I get more koans/Rogers quotes. I got the idea for this when I watched Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood directly after a documemtary on Buddhism.

Behold: Random Thoughts.
Unlike my colleague Gumbug's thoughts page, these are just random inanities that drift into my head, usually during math class. Once I have enough random thoughts, I'll make the page title literal with a Perl script to give you a new random thought every time you hit reload. If you want deep, serious thoughts, check out Gumbug's (when it's up).

Otaku also has random thoughts, but mine are better.

A couple of friends of mine who I wrote JavaScripts for are calling me the "King of JavaScript." While very flattering, this is untrue. I am merely the "Usurping Grand Vizier of JavaScript."

If anyone knows of a free counter place that doesn't involve banner ads, looks good, and is free, please do let me know.

Please feel free to drop me a line--I love getting e-mail.

This page will look best with Netscape 4.0+. Microsnot
Internet Exploiter and some other broswers may read this
page differently, so for it to look best, use Netscape
(it's a better browser anyway).
