The Synchromatic 5700 was one of Schuco's first models which depicted an actual car. Remote steering was by way of Schuco's wired steering wheel used on many of its models. The wire was inserted in the hole in the hood (bonnet). The "Start" switch is located on the rear just above the bumper. |

| Being made during the toy industrys transition to plastic the 5700 had some plastic parts such as the rear fins and the steering wheel. Some say Schucos late entry into plastics may have added to its demise. But Schucos mastery was clearly in stronger materals, just look at the 5700's beautifully lithoed seats in these two pics. |
