| | At the time of his death, Bridge had completed in full score all but the concluding 20 measures, which he had left sketched. The score was completed by Anthony Pople at the request of the Frank Bridge Trust. This lone movement is thought to have intended by Bridge as the opening of a three-movement Symphony for Strings. |
