| A Mailing list (ML) is a list that is designed to keep you informed as to what's happening. Only a few people are permitted to post to these lists. |
| A Discussion List (DL) is a list that is designed to allow ALL members to post to the list and all members of the list receive the post via e-mail. |
| A Bulletin Board (BBS) is designed to allow ALL members to post to the board and in order for people to see the posts, they have to sign on and look for the posts. |
