MEETING STATUS?

Next Committee Meeting: With Grenald Associates to review lighting recommendations. Notice postcards (and emails for those on the roster) will set the date when arranged. Meeting 2: To be followed by subsequent meeting with Pennoni to review sketch designs for Streetscape Construction Documents which will be started following completion of the Parking Lot set.

OBJECTIVES

The purpose of the Committee is to review ongoing work on the Narberth Downtown Project and make recommendations to Borough Council. The Committee will also serve to direct the efforts of professional firms or individual citizens, who want to help improve the Borough. This requires solicitation and co-ordination of volunteers. Committee Roster: Maintain currency of the membership list and initiate broadcast email (and other forms) for easier communication.

Expand/Cull, Prioritize & Assign The Following Tasks:

Feedback/Redline of the Pennoni Parking Plan, Committee recommendations, include lighting layout & picks, spec note regarding other color/material selections during construction. Design Program for upcoming Pennoni Streetscape Construction Drawings (talk about specialized formating) Functional long-term relationships with other pertinent groups Narberth Website, Newsletter interface, Press Releases ID Spots for Design Nuggets/Competitions   Fundraising for improvements, Promotional Assistance for DT businesses New Retail Design Instruments for voluntary use by downtown Owners or Tenants (sign control lease attachments, database drawings/photos, pro-bono design consulting session) Cataloging/Accessing/Promotion of Existing DTP Instruments for Use by Property Owners & Tenants
