Welcome to the Philadelphia Freedom Home Web Page.

The Freedom finished the regular season in second place behind their rivals the Reading Rage. In the last two games of the regular season, the Rage defeated the Freedom 3-2 in overtime and 3-0 in regulation to clinch first place in the Mid-Atlantic Division.

With their second place finish, the Freedom hosted the Baltimore Bays in the first round of the playoffs. The Freedom took a 1-0 lead at the 60 minute mark but a red card to midfielder Erik Cline forced the Freedom to play the last 15 minutes of the game a man down. The Bays scored in the 80th minute and the 87th minute to win the game 2-1.

In the second round of the D3 Pro League Playoffs, Baltimore defeated the New Jersey Stallions who had upset the Reading Rage. The Bays then lost to the New Hampshire Phantoms who qualified for the national semifinals.

In the end, the Albuquerkee Geckos defeated the Charlotte (North Carolina) Eagles 4-1 to claim the National Championship. The San Francisco Bay Seals defeated New Hampshire 1-0 to capture third place in the league playoffs.
