This character is based on one I use(d) in
The Ark RPG. Here's his original bio from over there (Pretty much everything is the same, except
he's mellowed out a bit, and his history is different since the end of the Great War)
Name: Eletron
Aliases:
Serial Number: 710i-zX62-2e
Status: Functional
Transformer Sex: Male
Age: 4.2 million stellar cycles
Faction: Decepticon
Affiliation:
Rank: Captain Major
Height: 17 feet
Size: Large
Type: Basic
Alt. Mode: BMW Sedan
Physical Description: Vehicle mode- A black BMW luxury sedan with
tinted windows (actually made of a metal alloy. passengers see
outside via holographic display on inside of windows, which may or
may not be their actual surroundings).
Robot mode- Transformation and general robot mode structure very
similar to Prowl (front end sticks out of chest, doors become "wings").
Parts of robot exterior not visible in car mode are generally dark
purple, and more rounded and cybertronian-like than most
Earth-reformatted automobile transformers. Purple face, red eyes,
ornate black helmet. Chin is elongated to look somewhat like a
goatee. Shoulder mounted rapid fire plasma cannons. Windshield forms
collar in back of head and plasma cannons (it's upside down and inside
out from the frontalperspective). This can be detached with a small
computer, and used as a holographic display capable of recieving and
sending transmissions and interacting with cassettes.
Personality: Refined, cold blooded and sinister, but oddly polite about
it. An intellectual, he believes in free will- for Decepticons and
Predicons only. Can be a great military strategist, government official,
scientist, or artist (Decepticon art is some of the finest in the
universe, but has never gained popularity, since most works are
constructed from the bodies of slain enemies. Eletron's masterpiece,
constructed cerca 2 million BC, has an art critic as its centerpiece)
but he prefers the "simple pleasures" in life: carnage, murder, and
destruction. If he were an Autobot, and not evil, he'd make a great
leader. However he lacks the cutthroat instinct needed to get and
maintain Dicon leadership. Treachery just isn't his thing. Not that he's
particularly loyal, either. He generally bounces from fnction to
function, learning the skills and reaching his full potential (often
outdoing the resident specialists in the field), then getting bored and
trying something else. Right now he's in his "warrior" stage, but not for
the first time. He is doing quite well in that role, though he tends to
overthink things in the middle of battle.
Specialities: Situation analysis, heavy warfare, interrogation,
communications, has at least moderate skill at almost everything else.
Fighting Ability:
Strength: 8
Speed: 7
Skill: 6
Aim: 6
Discipline:6
Stamina: 7
Intelligence: 10
Fire Power: 8
Weaponry/Special Abilities:
Twin rapid fire plasma cannons, mounted on shoulders in robot mode,
and can come out of side windows in vehicle mode. Your basic really
strong energy weapon.
Demolecularizer Rifle. To his knowledge, a unique weapon, the
technology in which was lost at the end of the Golden Age of
Cybertron. Inherited from the fatally injured regional governor he was
built to replace. superheats matter and breaks down all chemical
bonds, vaporizing any matter it hits. Has a range of ten miles and can
cut through 3 feet of solid titanium. Though it can pierce any armor,
and causes excruciating pain to the victim, its narrow, half inch
diameter beam doesnt do much damage, unless it cuts through a vital
system. Can be deflected by intense magnetic fields, and has no
effect against energy shields.
Holographic display- Screens that display three dimensional images, or
can project small holograms in front of them. Used to mimic windows
in car mode. in robot mode, one is connected to a small computer
component and can be used as a computer, or for communications.
Thermo dagger- 2 foot long dagger with thin layer of superheated
plasma around it. Melts materials into molten slag a millisecond before
cutting through them like butter.
History: When Vostkro, governor of the Decepticon controlled
citystate of Polyhex, was fatally wounded by a failed Autobot
invasion, several subordinates sought to take over, but none that
were worthy, in Vostkro's opinion. Even near death, his weapons were
far superior to those who sought to overtake him, and so he was able
to force them to bild his chosen successor, Eletron. Eletron was
designed to be a skilled political scientist and wielder of power, who
would bring greater meaning to Decepticon rule than the mindless
violence more simple minded cons used. Eletron was all this, but he
lacked the overwhelming desire for power typical of most Decepticons
(possibly a design flaw purposely made by those forced to build him).
Thus, he stayed out of the political games played by others, and was
eventually overthrown when the power vacuum left by Megatron's
disappearance caused ramapnt treachery. Oddly, instead of
destroying him or keeping him as a powerful ally on a tight leash, his
usurper banished him from Polyhex. Elegon got over his humiliation
quickly when he found that now, without resonsibiliy, he had freedom
to do as he pleased. For a hundred solar cycles he developed the art
of torturin innnocent civilians. For two hundred more he studied to
become the Decepticon's foremost expert on Cybertronian history. He
went from artist to warrior to scolar to political advisor. Decepticon
leadership developed an unfavorable view of him after he developed
his theory that Decepticon leaders blundered on purpose to stay in
power. his reasoning was thus: "Decepticons are so far superior to
other life forms, that they can rule without any internal structure-
any Con can simply find some untapped region, and terrorize the
poulace into doing whatever he wants. The only reason the
Decepticons need a centralized command structure is to fight the
Autobots, the only known beings capable of defeating them. If the
Decepticons ever actually won the war, there would no longer be any
need for a commander, and so no commander will win the war if he
wants to stay in command." Needless to say the higher-ups werent
too pleased by this bit of thought. He was inprisoned for over a million
solar cycles, until 1997, when the need for more Decepticon warriors
forced them to free most Decepticon prisoners. Since then he has
tried to concentrate on being a fighter, and keep his mouth shut
about the way things are being run- at least to those in charge.
Known Acquaintences: Commanded Thrust, Dirge, Ramjet, Insecticons
in Polyhex. well known to Decepticons left on Cybertron after the Ark
and Nemesis left.
Commander's Notes:
Shockwave: The logic of his theories is flawless, yet it is logic that did
him in. If the knowledge of his political theory is not suppressed, it will
result in more quarreling and revolt in the ranks, and give the
Autobots an advantage. I, of course am exempt from his theory since
I am ruled by logic, not ambition. Therein lies my superiority for
command.
Megatron: There is no room in the Decepticon army for philosophers
and bureaucrats! It seems Eletron has finally realized this.
Starscream: Fools like Megatron write him off, but i know the power of
a great mind. If he had any lust for power, he'd be one of my greatest
rivals.
MegatronII: He'd make a perfect second in command, at any level,
yess. Why the Decepticons insist on sticking him in a menial combat
role, and why he accepts it, all over some opinion that made a few of
them look bad a few million years ago, I cannot understand.
