Jan Wood is a recorded Friends minister and graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and of Seattle Pacific University. She brings a diversity of work experience to her writing. She has pastored local congregations in Washington and Indiana and has served as a campus minister. She was Chair of Religion and Philosophy at Wilmington (Oh.) College and later Associate Vice-President for Academic Affairs. She is presently Director of Good News Associates in Seattle, Washington.
The mother of three daughters, Jan is active in the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and attends Friends Memorial Church, Seattle. She is a popular speaker and retreat leader.
Beth Oppenlander, a
graduate of Seattle Pacific University, is working toward
a master's degree in business adminstration. The focus of
her studies is the integration of theology and business
management. Her insights and observations made important
collaborative contributions to this book. She and her
husband live in Seattle and attend Shoreline Covenant
