In an encyclopedia on Asian-Pacific Mythology,
I looked up the name "Shishi-o." I did this 'cause a friend of mine
was laughing at Shishio's name the first time she heard it. Why?
Well, "Shi Shi" is a little kid term for "pee pee" or "urine."
While that's pretty amusing (heh heh) I thought that there had to be another
definition of "ShiShi-o" than pee-pee-o or something.
I
was right. The encyclopedia says that "Shishi-o" means "Master of
Lions." It also happens to be the name of a legendary sword used
by the hero Yorimasa. Yorimasa killed a monster and received Shishio
(the sword) as a gift from a Lord. Interesting, ne? I bet Nobuhiro
knew that. Maybe you did, too?

This is something
odd that my brother and I threw together a while ago. We never really found
