I am both an adoptee and a birthmother. I was born Mary Therese  Fitzpatrick April 8, 1960 in Cork, Ireland at Sacred Heart Convent, Bessboro', Cork.  I also relinquished a daughter , born May 11, 1978 in Pennsylvania. I spent my "convalescence" at St. Vincent's Home in Upper Darby/Philadelphia and delivered at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital.  And I found and reunited with my beautiful birthdaughter, now known as Kerry, in March 1997.
