Lisa Wolfe was born into a large family and raised in southeastern Pennsylvania where she received both bachelor and master degrees while raising two daughters. Music has been a huge part of her life for more than thirty years and she has been performing original compositions for the past twenty-five. Her debut album You, Me and the Key was recorded and produced in 1995 and includes vocal harmonies by her sister Pat (and keyboards by Pat’s husband Sam). The song Florida (included on You, Me and the Key) introduces the story of Bears and Geese adapted and illustrated as a children’s book with audio cassette.

Lisa’s latest project involves the sharing of Multicultural Rhythms with elementary school children through her series of multi-media courseware. Targeted primarily at elementary educators, when completed, the Multicultural Rhythms of the World project will consist of seven parts, each discussing the instruments and rhythms unique to a region of the world. Materials will include an audio CD with the sounds of each instrument as well as recordings of professional musicians performing rhythms of the regions. Booklets will present images of the instruments with a brief discussion of the instrument's history and place in the community. Part 1 of the series focuses on the rhythms of Africa, the Carribean and Latin America and the CD may be ordered by mail.
