This is your student gateway to a variety of materials to help you with your studies. Here you will find such things as  practice quizzes to help prepare you for the actual tests, a few interactive drills and maybe a few surprises. Be sure to visit this page often. It is only accessible to those who have registered for the course who have been given a password. There will be frequent changes. If your browser is Java enabled visit the Math Chat Room.

Is a problem stumping you? Go to our very own Discussion Forum and post your question. I check it at least once per day. If you post a message, I will attempt to post a solution. Also, any one you may feel free to respond to another student's question if you know the answer or where to find it. Also, I may post a puzzle from time to time and let you take a stab at the solution.

Midterm Review Online is the same practice quiz that will be handed out during the review session on Wednesday, October 21st (6-8 pm). You may use it to review again and again. It is self-scoring on-screen. The problems do not change. To get the most out of this exercise, you may wish to just look at it first, then study, then go back and try to take it without using your text as a help. After it is scored once, focus on the ones you got wrong as well as the ones that you know were just "lucky guesses." Remember: this is a REview. You can not REview something until you have VIEWed it!

Final Review Online is the practice quiz that will be handed out during the review session to be held Wednesday December 2 from 6-8 pm in room S3-14B. At this time I will let people work the practice quiz for 1/2 hour and then go over it and answer any questions. I suggest that if you have any difficulty at all with the online version that you attend the review session and pick up some techniques. It is not the test score that matters, but that you will miss information that you cannot get elsewhere.
