10/28/97 - The whole site is getting redesigned. Please bear with me. Watch your step, don't mind the asbestos, and visit often.
12/14/97 - Major updates to the Hardware section, Cryptography section, and the addition of the MP3 section.
12/28/97 - More of the same.
12/30/97 - Most updating done in the Hardware & MP3 sections.

The fire bells ring a code during a fire [drill] to tell you where the alarm was set off (where the fire is): a number of rings to tell you what section of the school the the alarm was set off (1 ding for A-Pod, 2 dings for B-Pod, etc.) - then either one ding or two dings to tell you what floor the alarm was set off (1 ding for the 1st floor, 2 dings for the 2nd floor) - then a dummy code - then the code repeats. This is written next to the brown phones in the rooms sometimes.
Our school actually has on-campus Internet access! Both the math planning center and the library have Internet access, but it's "not available to the student body". I'm organizing a group to get Internet access available campus-wide (and more) called the Computer Club (how original). If you are a student at North Penn, first join the club, then ask your math teacher or librarian why you don't have Internet access and they do. Take it to the streets!
